Karen Michalson writes literary fantasy and hard, progressive-edged rock music. She is the bassist and lead vocalist for the adventure rock trio, Point Of Ares. Karen grew up on literary classics and rock n' roll, and now divides her time between literature, music, and the study of law. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Massachusetts, where she specialized in nineteenth-century British literature.
