As a child Bettyann Craddock developed a rich imagination to escape the turmoil's of the adults around her. She read voraciously, beginning with the genre of myth, and extended this interest as she grew older into the realm of science fiction, then to classics.
Opportunity did not allow for a formal education, but an insatiable curiosity about the world, and a love of people, led her around the globe to live in many foreign places. Love of reading and learning never ceased; she is self taught in two foreign languages, world history, anthropology, psychology, and has turned keen observation and a sharp intuition into a well developed talent. Her special interest in human motivation prompted her first attempts at creating character on paper.

She has been an athlete all her life, even though the mother of five children and a grandmother of one (has many pictures).
Ms. Craddock has a great love of the outdoors and the mountains of northern New Mexico, where she has made her home. Her passion for the instinct of survival and it's fundamental effect on the human psyche will continue to be a theme throughout her future novels.
