Rocketed to the Earth as an infant to escape the destruction of his
homeplanet, Keith R.A. DeCandido was bitten by a radioactive editor
as a teenager and given powers far beyond those of mortal wordsmiths. He
swore to use his powers to avenge the death of his parents. Upon being
reminded that his parents were alive, well, and expecting him to support
them in their old age, he instead swore to use his powers for personal
profit.

As an author, he has written several novels, short stories,
nonfiction books, comic books, and eBooks in universes created by other
people, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who,
Farscape, Marvel Comics, Star Trek, Xena, and others.

As an editor, he has edited several anthologies, including the new original anthology Imaginings, coming in 2003 from Pocket Books, and over fifty novels, including the upcoming trilogy The Inconstant Moon by Pierce Askegren, coming in 2003 from Ace Books.
