Kim Wilkins was born in London in 1970 and now lives in Australia. Her first novel The Infernal won the 1997 Aurealis Awards for best fantasy novel and best horror novel, and her third novel The Resurrectionists won the 2000 Aurealis Award for best horror novel. She is published in Australia, the UK, and Europe.
